Narrative

This coffee was produced by Seugndo Ruiz Salvador at La Palma, an 8 hectare coffee farm owned and operated by Segundo himself. The area in which Segundo grows coffee, known as the Cajamarca Region in Peru, is classified as a tropical highland. It is situated right alongside the Andean Mountain Range, and as a result, it has very fertile soil, and the semi-dry and semi-cold conditions make it the perfect environment for growing coffee. Most coffee producers in this region are smallholders, meanining their farm sizes would not exceed 2 or 3 hectares.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴: Described by the producers as honey process. The cherries are fermented in a sealed environment under controlled conditions, then dried on raised beds for 28-40 days.
