Blackcurrant / Agave / Aniseed


This lot represents coffee contributed to Kercha Washing Station by 650 smallholder producers from Hambela Wamena, Guji, Ethiopia. This lot was dried in full sun, and the fruit of the coffee cherry was left on the seed throughout the drying process. The cherries were raked each day to ensure consistent drying, and during the hottest hours of the day, the lot was covered to protect it from the heat. The cherries were also covered at night to protect them from moisture and rainfall.
