Narrative

Gedeb Tatatu Wet Mill is located in the town of Tatatu, Gedeb Woreda, Gedeo Zone, Ethiopia. The mill processes the coffee of 350 smallholder producers in the area, and the mill itself is managed by Asegedech Sholie. The smallholder producers have an average farm size of under two hectares, and the coffee is typically grown under the shade of zigbo trees. Farms are often intercropped with enset, potato, and soybeans, helping to subsidise income, and providing food for producing families.
