Located in Grecia, West Valley, Cerro San Luis Micromill
is a family-run business operated by two siblings and
their spouses. Recently, the family replaced their older
coffee trees with a myriad of different coffee varieties,
including Caturra, Red and Orange Bourbon, SL-28,
Catuai, Villa Sarchi, and Maragogype. This particular
lot comprises SL-28, a variety that is well-known for its
exceptional cup quality, and its high yield potential,
and its “rusticity”, a characteristic where the coffee
plant can thrive even after being left unattended for
years or decades, and then resume successful production.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴: Described by the producers as YELLOW HONEY. DRIED on raised beds with partial fruit intact, then transferred to covered patios and regularly turned until drying is complete.
