The Dalton Family have been growing coffee for 158 years. Their story began in 1864 when Manuel Matheu borrowed land to grow coffee on in the city of Antigua. Manuel sold his lot to buyers in London, and the lot was such a great success that the President of Guatemala commissioned him to show other small farmers how to grow coffee in the region. The original farm has since been split into four smaller farms, and this particular lot represents coffee from Bosque de San Fransisco.
