Narrative

Beatriz Giraldo produces coffee on her farm, La Esperanza, with her children, Pedro and Lucia. The farm is located in the Risaralda department in Colombia. Beatriz focuses primarily on coffee quality and processing. Currently, Beatriz is focused on implementing alternative processing methods to yield complex flavour profiles in the cup. Pedro and Lucia are both biologists, and their knowledge greatly contributes to this focus on processing.
