Narrative

This coffee was grown in the subdistrict of Atsabe, in Ermera, Timor-Leste. Producers live and work across the entirety of this area, meaning some have limited access to post-harvest infrastructure due to their rural location. Raw Material, the company from which we purchased this coffee, has built several washing stations across the subdistrict since 2018, increasing access to post-harvest operations for producers. This lot was processed at two different washing stations; Malabe and Raimutin.
