Roasting coffee can be a slow and steady process. A single batch of coffee can take up to 15 minutes to roast, and with long hours ahead of us day in and day out, we need something to keep us engaged. Music, podcasts, and audiobooks keep us company in our headphones, setting the pace and helping us stay focused and energised throughout the day.

Everyone on the team has their own go-to sounds while roasting. Some prefer music to match the pace of the work, while others lean into podcasts or audiobooks to learn something new while keeping an eye on the roast. Often, we’re roasting for up to eight hours a day—plenty of time to really lock into something good!

We've compiled a short list of sounds that our roasting team is currently listening to while they roast. Have a peruse, and we hope it adds something special to your daily brew!:
