It’s been over six months since we released our brand-new 100% recyclable packaging. We’re thrilled with the positive response and the results. Along with the new packaging came a redesign of our coffee labels. Historically, our labels have been packed with information — details about the farm, coffee variety, processing method, region, and country of origin. We’re proud to share this depth of information, but we also understand it can feel overwhelming when you’re simply trying to choose the coffee that’s the best fit for you.
Over the last five years, we’ve spent countless hours refining our label design through every packaging iteration we’ve been on. We believe our new design is the best expression of that journey yet.
Over the last five years, we’ve spent countless hours refining our label design through every packaging iteration we’ve been on. We believe our new design is the best expression of that journey yet.
Our goal was simple: refresh the exisiting coffee label design so that’s easy to read and gives you the essential information you need to make an informed choice, without information overload. Here’s what’s new:
Producer Name: Now the largest text, front and centre, so you can instantly see who produced the coffee you’re about to enjoy.
Variety, Process, Origin: Grouped neatly under clear headings for easy scanning, so you’ll know exactly what to expect from your cup.
Tasting Notes: We’ve swapped “tasting notes” for a friendlier heading like “tastes like”, making it more approachable. The details are more prominent, so you can quickly get a feel for the flavours waiting for you.
Category: Whether it’s a limited release, blend, or seasonal single origin, this helps you understand the style of coffee you’re buying.
Intensity (blends and seasonal single origins only): We’ve added an easy-to-read scale so you can quickly see whether a coffee leans light or heavy
QR Code:The coffee’s unique backstory is still here, but it just doesn’t take up most of the label anymore. Scan to explore the full story, supplier details, and more on our website.
We hope this redesign makes choosing your next coffee a little simpler. Our roasters are always just an email away for any questions, so feel free to reach out at contact@timelycoffees.com.au to find out more about your coffee!
