"Good things take time" as the old saying goes. But what if they didn't have to? What if you could start your own cafe/dessert bar, and be roasting your own coffee, all within 12 months? Well, the team at Hop Cafe in Vic Park did just that!
In 2022, April, Yvette, and Nelson started Hop with the vision of providing a rotating roster of coffee roasters, guided coffee-tasting experiences, as well as coffee and curated dessert pairings. Since then, their concept has evolved into roasting their very own coffee for Hop, and they're doing it all with the help of Timely.
Just over a year ago, they had never roasted coffee. Now, April and the team have full control over the coffee they serve at Hop. From their amazing house blend to a seasonal selection of single origins, Hop is taking their coffee to a whole new level. By utilising the Timely roasting facility, they've been able to refine exactly how they want their coffee to taste, and we couldn't be prouder to have them as long term residents at Timely.
